Visiting Khijadia Bird Santuary

The Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary  located about 12 km. away from Jamnagar,  is a unique wetland eco-system having two fresh water lakes, with a  total area of 6.05 Sq.km. Its a paradise for waterfowls, waders and terrestrial birds. Nearly more then 300 species of Birds  recorded in the sanctuary and among them nearly 200 species are seen regularly during the year. We at Hotel Aram, would love to assist our customers in visiting the Bird Sanctuary. For convenience we would like to note down a few points which would help make your visit comfortable and hasslefree.

• Permission is required from the forest department to enter, which can be availed at the Sanctuary itself. 
• A letter needs to be provided for the permission, which is simple and pre drafted with us stating that you are visiting the Sanctuary. We would just require your Full Name.
• Foreigners and NRIs are required to carry a copy of their passport.
• Indian Visitors are advised to keep identity proof.
• We could arrange for your commuting to & fro from the hotel at reasonable rates.
• Below is the Rate Chart of Entry Fees to the sanctuary provided by the forest department. (subject to change without prior notice)
